April Sync highlight - The Sky at Night on BBC4

I was honoured to find that one of my new Lomea tracks was used on the introduction to Sunday night’s episode of The Sky at Night, on BBC4!

It's an institution which has been on TV since the 50s, and I used to love watching it as a kid when Patrick Moore was at the helm, so it's great to be connected in some small way.

The track is Drifts, from my new EP of the same name released on EMI Production Music earlier in the year and the clip can be found on the Lomea Facebook page.

New Lomea release on EMIPM

Delighted to share this new EP I’ve done for EMI Production Music, called Drifts. It’s part of the KPM Shorts series, released online a few weeks back but has just come out on Spotify and other platforms. Really proud of this one! I had creative carte blanche which was really gratifying and I like to think it’s probably the best sounding bunch of tracks I’ve made yet. I painted the cover too.

Classical Remix album

It’s been a busy and productive Summer, and here’s a new album for No Sheet Music (my third for them this year so far); Classical Remix.

The title is probably self explanatory, but it’s a collection of electronic reinterpretations of (extremely) well known classical pieces. Canon in D, Claire de Lune and other earworm melodies from the ages. Really had a lot of fun putting this one together, not done anything like it before. For the most part, these are very different from the original pieces, just using the notes as a basis really (instead of just putting a house beat underneath a load of MIDI strings or whatnot.)

Anyway here’s the album

Many more album projects in the works; either in actuality or as concepts in my head. Watch this space!
